does anyone know of a freeware utility that will show how many Mbs I use per month,.. I'm restricted to 1 Mb and don't want to be stung!!!

Any suggestions, links etc appreciated

I presume you mean 1Gb.
I don't know any reliable software utils that will do this.
Does your ISP provide daily stats somehow?

yeah, sorry 1Gb.

I can check the ISP's site I guess, was just hoping there'd be an easier way...

I remember utilities years ago but with spyware etc embedded in so much these days I don't know what is good and what isn't!

tell me about it... I can only receive bulldog in my flat; while I get 8Mbps, unless I pay them another £10 I only get a gig a month!

"du meter" displays your current download and upload transfer rates but can be also be configured to give totals per day/month/week etc and warn you when you're approaching your allocated limit per month

does exactly what it says on the tin, i've used it for years

That really is stupid.
They give you huge bandwidth but punish you for using it!
