Anybody any ideas every time the smg box changes up and down the gears the radio goes on and off by which i mean the radio stays on but goes silent for two or three seconds delay ,when the gears are changing.
I had to see it for my-self or i would never have believed it.

Pharoaoh,

spoke to my BMW guy about this one but he's never come across it before, although he doesn't often work on M3's. Looks like you need to speak to main agent. If I'm understanding what your saying correctly the power stays on to the radio, so it must be the actual signal that is interrupted but how that can happen I have no idea. Hope you get it sorted soon mate, cheers Steve.

It's obviously a deliberate ploy by BMW to allow you to listen to the engine note.

(who wants a radio in an M3 anyway?)

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.
