So by your logic then a huge proportion of people in this country are ex smokers.

Since a lot of people support the ban, certainly to some extent, then they must all be ex smokers by your reasoning.

One of my mates has never smoked but has asthma. He can't wait for the ban because he loves a pint but becuase of the smoke he frequently can't enjoy a one in a pub.

The fact that I am an ex smoker means that I know that it is possible to quit, that you feel a lot better once you do, you are a lot better off and that you realise that you were a slave to them when you did smoke.

No No No not what i was saying at all i was saying you have non smokers that will go with the ban because they have never smoked, but in a pub where there is smoking you will get the odd few non smokers complaining about it, but the majority of people who complain about the smoke are ex smokers because when they enter they smell the smoke and get a cravin for it because their body has been introduce to it and thats why you cant wait for the ban to happen, where as a total non smoker's body has never had nicotine introduced directly into the system.

I know its possible to quit as i have done before thats why i know about the urge you get by going in a pub.

why would i feel better if i gave up smoking, i can run a mile in six minutes, i can go on a twelve mile hyke with fully loaded burgen, i can do a six mile quick march, ican box, im also B.F. smoking has never stop me or my mates obtaining the fitness we needed for the army when i came out i just carried on thing is can you do these things?

Slave to cigarettes dont get that one, better off you mean buy not having to buy them, i can afford them or i wouldnt buy them

I don't get a craving from cigarette smoke when I enter a pub. It makes me feel a bit ill to be honest. I used to get a craving when I first quit but it faided after a while. What I missed most was the habit of smoking. I used to associate relaxing with sitting down and having a fag. When I first quit I used to find it hard to relax.

If can do all that being a smoker then imagine how fit you would be if you didn't smoke.

If smoking doesn't affect fitness then why don't any profesional athletes do it?

It will catch up with you in the end.

Ok so you only choose to buy them because you want too?

So if you lost your job you'd quit just like that?

If the answer to that is yes, then why not quit anyway?

Don't be a ******

You can use all the insults you like. It's already been insinuated that because I don't like breathing fag smoke I'm Girly, a lentil eater and i'm sure more.

You can all say what you like, it reminds me of when I was at school and kids tried to persuade you to smoke by saying it made you more of a man or made you look more grown up. How old are you lot 14??

TBH I am not on best form. Suffering a bit as I had a few beers last night, didn't get to bed till 12, then had to get up an 5:30.

It's a good job I don't smoke anymore. Sources of ingition round me wouldn't be a good idea at the moment due to the large ammounts of toxic gas comming out of my ar*e. Beer has more than one down side
