Hi guys i'm going to look at a 323i vert at the weekend and wondering what their like also what things to look out for.   Is there any probs with the engine/block, eg the nakasil problem.   Its a 1999 plate with 80 000 on clock...service history i dont know about..looking for 8.5k.

as far as I know a '99 is post-nikasil problem, should have an alusil engine.

-dunno, not my cup of tea, I'm a 6er-holic actually....

there may be some generic stuff to the 323i that you can pick up on the 3er section, only a few bits are peculiar to the ragtop version, and there may be relatively few of these about. Also bear in mind this section has only recently covered convertibles, I think, so not many owners will be habitually visiting it as yet I expect.
