how many of you have done it??

locked their car key's in the car?

yesterday i'm down at a yard where i keep a couple of old car's, after ive done what i was doing, i put my tool's down in the boot of my BM, then empty my coat pocket's before taking my coat of to put in the boot also, close down the boot lid, walk's round to get in and drive away... only to find i'd locked the car? and when i opened it i only opened the boot (via remote) and then to find ...  "SheeiT" key's are in the boot!!

lucky for me i was less than a mile from home and a kind chap in the next yard took me home to fetch my spare key!!

I FELT LIKE SUCH A .... HOMMER! Dooh!!!

I did it with the family in tow stuck in the centre of Norwich and had locked the keys in the boot of my e28. Was fortunate to have already unlocked the car and had all documents in the glovebox. Had to take a 20 minute walk to BMW dealer when managed to get key cut by chassis number. Was a lucky boy as the ignition key was different to door lock key

ended up getting locked in the boot of my last car

was fixing the interior light in the boot (remaking the connections), when my bro thought it would be a good idea to shut the boot to leave me in the dark for a few moments.....only the lock was already locked (so when i shut the boot i wouldn't forget to lock it becasue it had no central locking) but the keys were in my pocket....took him nigh on 5 minutes to find the bloody spare keys in the house.........the git

ian

its bad enough what happened to you with the keys but last year i had a focus (before seeing sence) over in ireland on holiday an the misses done the exact same thing as you locked them in the boot main problems being i had to get a boat from larne which was 3 hrs drive in 4 hours time and the spare set were sitting in the drivers door pocket. smart eh.

needless to say i can vouch you can easily do a hundred down a country road in a focus and travelling with a woman that your not talking to is no fun at all.

and the AA is actually quite good with there european cover had a local garage out in no time. i was contemplating putting a brick through the back window and getting it sorted when i got home.
