   I have just purchased my first BMW a 1997 323i se
Can anyone recommend a good specialist BMW garage, one I can trust without paying main dealer prices?  I live in Hyde post code SK14 

So anywhere in the Hyde, Stockport, Ashton Area.
 Anyone had dealings with Autosport in Ashton  www.autosport-ashton.ltd.uk I found there site on the web?

	Williams Autotechnik in Old Trafford. Cheaper labour than the main dealer, no replacement car. So far I'm happy with their advice and service.

	Thanks for your help. I will phone BaMoW tomorrow as my car has been there before with the previous owner. Never heard of the place myself but there stamp is in my service book. Thanks again, Dave.

	I phoned today asking for a quote for an Inspection2 on a 97 323I; BM Tec quoted �188 BaMow quoted �275 Does anyone know if BaMow is a better garage or are they just expensive? Just for reference I phoned a main dealer Blue Bell BMW quoted �317.15 for an inspection2. If anyone has used BM Tec with good results I will book in for a service. Any advice will be appreciated. Dave.

	Dave, Baymow are expensive but VERY good. I used them for years when I lived in Stockport. Neil and Chris are both ex-main dealer mechanics, what they dont know aint worth knowing. They are usually quite busy so you may have to wait to get your car booked in.

	I have used BMTec before and am pleased with the work done (replacement cam belt and various bushes). It's a messy little place under the arches opposite Salford Central station but the service was excellent and very reasonable!
