Hi Guys,

E34 1990 525i Sport

I'm hoping there is an easy answer to this... When I lock my doors (from the drivers door) all the doors centrally lock but reopen almost immediately, on the second attempt all is fine... Any suggestions? The same for the passenger door.

Cheers,

Ron.

mcpie, I saw something similar on an E39 before....it was the microswitch in the door that determines the position of the key when locking/unlocking.  They can get moved out of position slightly or go faulty.

Check that your boot lock button isn't sticking in slightly, mine does this all the time at this time of year.
