M54 Engine Vanos Filter

Guys, 

Having a discussion on the z4um.com just now about regularly changing your vanos filter to prolong life of the vanos on the 3.0 engine. 

Does anyone know if this is possible on that engine, I know you can do it on the older E36 M3 engines and the S54 engines....
