	When I crashed it I had to replace the following: Front bumper, Frnt bonnet, Frnt reinforcer, water pump air pipe (frm the engine to air filter) heater matrix I could go on but I think you can imagine basically almost the whole of the front of the car. So just as im typing this I get the bad news it is the lower engine mount does anyone know anywhere good place to get my engine rebuilt? Thanks for any help offered.

	Hi, A few things: 1) When you say crashed it, how, and what was damaged at the time? 2) What type of noise is it? Tapping could be 20 different things, are you sure it is not more like a knock? Where in the engine bay is it comming from when you listen and rev the car? 3) Is the noise affecting performance 4) Why do you even think it could be the pistons? Thanks!

	Hi people, I have recently bought a BMW 318ti compact the 1.9 sprts one. However since I have crashed it I have had nothing but problems with it since, however my latest problem is a constant tapping noise I have a feeling it mite be the pistons on the lower engine has anyone ever had this problem before and know what it is?
