Hi Folks.

Ive a e34 535i in dolphin grey with grey leather.

Ive had the car 2 years and sadly only ever driven it for the first month then rarely for 5 months after that.

the car has been parked up since then due to me going to college and having no money to run it, i'm afraid the car has been somewhat neglected and i feel terrible for it! ive been meaning to get it sorted and back on the road unfortunately that wont happen for another 2.5 years. was wondering what sort of price i could get for it in its present condition. it has an lpg conversion which started playing up(not starting on petrol checked the fuel pump which was ok. was told it could be the electrical switch swapping from petrol to gas. fired up on the gas most times) about a year ago my dad was going to give it a look over and tried to take the dizzy cap off and 2 bolts sheared! one sticking out and other one flush.

there is a sligh blow from the exhaust and a few rust spots forming on the car, like i said i cant afford to fix it and its breaking my heart just sitting there wasting away. i'm sure and competent diy'er could get it running no probs and was wondering how much i should let her go for as either a project or (hope not) as spares.

any help would be appreciated!  Wullie.

Let's put it this way, a friend has just bought a very clean E34 535 with sports seats, leather, genuine Alpinas & 124k miles for £700. The Alpinas are worth around £650 - £700.

Prices for E34's are getting seriously cheap to the point that it just isn't worth trying to resurrect one.

Sadly, you'll probably get more for it by breaking it for spares.
