Hi simmo

I also have an E30 covertible bought it last May with F.S.H 54 K on the clock and in mint condition surly these cars are future classics. Why not go to Tatton Park in September ( Porche& BMW Show). By the way try white spirit or turps sub to remove sellotape

Simmo,
Turps/white spirit and a bit of elbow grease will get the sticky gunk off your rear window. Just make sure to wash it off immediately with soapy water as either will dehydrate anything it touches: which can't be good for a vulnerable plastic window.
I don't know what the pin switch is though.
What sort of E30? 325? How's it compare to your 5?

Can't get enough of that wonderful Duff

I use Autoglym plastic window cleaner but agree also with what the guys are saying above, as for the pin switch I do not have one on mine, can you describe it any further - curious one that !!!
