Hello all, a common problem with our cars is the electrical plug connector for the sensor in the thermostat housing for the cooling fan.

Does anyone have a part number for this connector to the sensor and the connecting female terminals needed to reconnect the wires.

Cheers, Paul.

No, it's the size in mm of a certain body part!

Of course it's the kit...

Adwo, it just as well be a size of a certain body part  That is the incorrect part number!

I think it is the 2.5mm system on ETK - page 61-1296. Difficult to select absolutely the right connector without having the old one in front of you to check against. I think the body of the connector comes apart and goes back together again OK.

Also on realoem page 61-15 next to the bottom drawing.

wires are 0.75mm if that helps.

I found some used connectors in good condition around the engine bay of an E34. IIRC the E34 wiper motor has the same type of connector. I Cut one off along with a decent length of wire and soldered them onto the end of the M3 wiring.
