e30 cabrio 325i door glass ,same a

Hi  was  wondering  if  door  glass  on  e30  cabrio  ,is  sdame  as  2  door  hard  top  ?

just  broke  one  trying  to  repair  a  dent  in  a  friends  car  :

any  help  appreciated

You've probably found the answer by now but I don't think it's the same. You have to bare in mind that a hardtop car's doors have window surrounds with channels. I reckon the glass would need to be slightler smaller all round to allow for the channels. On a convertible car the glass actually reaches right to the rear of the door shell and right up virtually into the roof.
