   A friend of mine is thinking of getting a E38 728. He would like to know when did the nikasil bore wear end on this engine?

	I think it was Production post April 98 which got the later (Alusil ??) block as oppose dto Nikasil. May also have change to dual vanos around the same time.

	Thats the one the cars with double Vanos fitted are generally the lter Alusil only blocks.
