Hi, does anyone happen to have a set of 5 stud wheels lying in the back of their garage in the Aberdeen area?

I'm looking to "borrow" a set for my touring as I'm planning on swappin over the m3 suspension at the weekend.

I should only need them for a few weeks, steels or alloys it doesn't really matter, its just so I can move the car around until I get my splitties

I've got a spare set of M5 throwing stars you're welcome to borrow.  I've also got a newly refurbished set of Alpinas but you'd have to rubber them!!

Cheers Pete.

Hi Chas, what rim size and offset are those M5 ones?

Just wondering if they'll fit under my teenie weeny arches.

Not sure of the offset but they're standard E34 M5 17" (with 235 rubber iirc).  The set currently on the M5 are the wider rears with 255 rubber.  You're welcome to have a look if you're in the area.

George91 might be a better bet as he has several E30 bits (and several E30s in storage).  Try PM ing him as he doesn't check the forum too often.

Will it not need to be e36/e46 fitment, e34 wont fit on e36 M3 running gear.

Ally is the best bet he has a set of 15 or 16" e36 wheels, they would do the trick nicely!

The suspension is E30 M3.

Chas, those 17"s would be a good test for fitment for the Split Rims I'm keeping an eye on. They are 17" x 8" Front and 17" x 9" Rear, they are 20 and 22mm offset repectivley.

Just looked up realoem and they are exactly the size of the spilts.

I really want them on my touring but 9"s at the back? I did a few half assed measurements last night and think I might just squeeze in an extra inch either side.

Chas, where abouts are you? I've got the wifes jeep with me today but have to pick her up from the train station at 7:10pm

Chas, many thanks!

Message posted and wheels picked up a few hours later!

It was good to have a quick glimpse of your awesome collection of germany's finest, but alas a car full of champange fueled women prevented more discussion!

Anyway, thanks again and I'll let you know how I get on with them. (hopefully this weekend)
