Yes, i sometimes wish we could turn back the technological clock a few years... I'd swap my camera phone or wireless internet for a brand new 635 any day!! Used to have a 1985 Audi 80 Quattro, I loved that car!!

240/45 ZR415. You'll find 255/40 17" will be within 1% of the original size meaning you can use one of your TRX as a spare - important if you have an lsd. This size really needs a wider (9") wheel on the rear. For the front, an 8" wheel is slightly narrower than the metric & most people use a 235 tyre which gives a little less tramlining. I'm using a 235/40 on the front as this give a slight nose-down stance rather than nose-up with 235/45's. If you're using the same size all round then go for the higher profile. This is my Six with BMW Style 32's (8x17 & 9x17) from an E39 Sport. They're a little easier to clean than Alpinas but still suit the car (imo). As you probably know, E39 wheels require hubcentric rings when fitted to a Six. |

Thanks Andy, sound advice I'm pretty sure my car doesn't have a lsd, what is the easiest way of checking this? I have a printed spec for the car with extras on, and it's not on there. I really like the Alpinas you've got - perfect size and style, especially with the misano red. My highline has not been dechromed liked yours so i think it might still suit bbs style wheels better... not sure. Found some different bbs style wheels on ebay... i like the wheels but not sure how they'd look on a six... opinions please!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1& ;item=8053711456&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT Cheers |

The alloys on my six are very similar to the ones on ebay, though not split rims. I don't seem to have the means to upload pics (either that or I'm technically inept (could be both)). If you want to PM me with your email address, I send you a couple of pics. Might give you an idea of the look.

Doug - those wheels look great on your 635. BBS style, not too bog, not too small.
