Thought I'd wait almost a year before replying....37 from Reading, had it 6
years, £450 unlimited miles as I still use mine to commute 50 miles every
day, good to see the forum picking up again....

Hi Folks - just registered and thought I'd add my vote.

Age 42, had my current M3 5 years or thereabouts, and a previous one about 4 years. Insurance £250 FC with the AA. Guess a northern Scottish postcode can work wonders on the risk front.

I'm 26 - I've had my M3 for the last 3 years! Longest I've ever kept any car.

Have to sell it now though :(

Ok pits you embarrassed me into it.

38 years old {only just} and live in Lanarkshire Scotland.

I Have owned E30's for the past 13 years in different guises, but have owned 2 M3's in the last 8 years.

The first being a '87 2.3ltr and now for the last 4 years I have a Jet Black Sport Evo.

Carol Nash $300 fully comp with an agreed value and limited to 3000 miles a year and garaged.

favourate age group appears to be 25 to 34 - obviously too young to drive one when it was new!

Next is 35 to 44 - obviously too poor to drive one when it was new

followed by 45 to 54 (which includes me - still just!) could possibly have afforded it when new, but it was too ostentatious at the time!

followed by a few in the upto 24 and over 55 groups - more sense than money (Think of the insurance!) or re-living their youth (& s*d the insurance)

OK time for a comment!

???

How's about " could have bought one but family demanded
somthing more practical"

followed by 45 to 54 (which includes YOU- still just!) could possibly have afforded it when new, but it was too ostentatious at the time!

how's about "is dreaming that he could have afforded it when new but didn't have enough cash..."
