Owned my M3 for just over 2 years but it has spent most of that time in my "workshop" as a bit of a project car. I hope it is nearly finished now.

Living in Lancashire with an insurance premium of £290 fully comp. on a cherished car policy with 5,000 miles per year and an agreed value of 8K (I hope).

Edit: Just noticed Fusion Julz post. My insurance is through Adrian Flux (best quote). I am a bit older but other than that much the same. What a difference a postcode makes.

Had my Sport Evo for 18 months, replacing my 52 plate Civic Type R. Unbelievably it was £50 cheaper to insure. I paid £480 fully comp the first year but £650 this year living in South West Cumbria with the car parked on the street.

Lancastrian:
Adrian Flux were not the cheapest (Carol Nash were), but they were the only ones who got back to me with a quote in a reasonable length of time (48hrs IIRC)...Carol Nash were nearly £100 less, but I'd already agreed and paid Adrian Flux by the time they bothered to give me a quote!
Next time I will begin with more time to sort it out and will aim for £300ish

My insurance could be higher also because I refuse to pay or agree silly excess amounts...So my excess is £150...

Agreed value is £6K

I'm 27 and have had my '87 M3 for around 5 years. It has been off the road for over a year now and will shortly be making it re-appearence (have more or less restored it). Live near Wolverhampton.

I'm a bit lucky with my insurance as my dad is in the motor trade and has had me and the M tagged on to his motor trade policy. Think the additional premium to cover me is around £50.

Hi

i am 43 and have had my Cecotto for 6 months. This being my second E30 M3, my first was a Diamond Black '86 car with a low chassis number 1370 i think. I paid £330 for a limited to 5000 miles a year insurance policy with Adrian Flux. The Cecotto is kept in a garage. AON who insured my blcak M3 were more expensive this time around so i went with AF. I live near Brighton East Sussex.

I'm 29 and I've had the M3 just over 4 years now, used it as a daily driver for the first 2 and now it's a second car. Got it insured through Carol Nash for £285 limited mileage (about 5k I think) garaged and in Milton Keynes.

Me??  I'm 33 (I know, I know, I look like soooo much younger. From a distance, at night, with your eyes closed, blindfolded!!!!  )

Had mine since Dec 05.  I pay £250 fully comp, limited miles, classic policy, (Premier Insurance 01207 592222), and I'm in Durham.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
