i been told u can cut a hole in the ski hole, then mount a small sub! i aint gonna be able to do it yet any way cus im gettin damp in the boot sum how and not sure how to fix that.
but as we all know its not very good idea puttin an amp in the damp lol (mind u thinkin about it, the battery is in the damp :S)

i used a sub box when i had my cab E36 , sounded fine to me and my system cost me a grand.
12" sub sat between the bit where the hood goes into and the boot lip where the lock is and never moved.
speakers in the rest of the car were standard bmw.
just a little crazy.

Hmm..

I spoke to a car audio specialist near me, who wasnt very positive about getting decent sound in a cabrio. Mostly because the speaker positions are too low - it's the parcel shelf speakers in the E36 that are the place you can fit decent speakers but of course the cabrio doesnt have them.

If you find a solution that doesnt cost loads of cash, do tell!

any places to buy or see how to fit a sub in a cab?
i seen one on here a while back where sum one had fitted one, just wondered if there was any info out there on installing, or any ideas of the best things to buy?

i used to have 3200w of bass in the old car but that was easy to do cus u could access car from boot!

my cab is a '95 325
