Should I put some new alloys on?
If so, which ones? (BMW or official tuner suggestions only... no TSWs etc!!) |

Hi there Fozzy, cross spokes of any kind always look good, especially original BBS Sports like on Mikes. Steve.

Some alternatives - and IMHO the only options for the e36!
1) BBS (my favourite of course) 2) OEM Style 32 3) Alpina Softlines 4) AC Schnitzer Type 2 |

Mr Fozzers, Your one stop shop should be BMAutosport; new or used, reps or originals (refurbished) + tyre deals. They have the lot. Just look at a similar E36 convert & Schnitzer racing 'type III' 18's: |

Oooh Hello!
This one went quiet after I posted... then I went home... And on my return - loads of interesting ideas!! Thanks everyone! Most suggestions are pretty costly though - so it looks like I'll have to save my sheckles. Alpina softlines look tasty on the blue car, as to ACS type IIIs. Off to have a look at the dealers websites now... |

Nice photo shop work. I put E46 17's on an E36 and they look great. It was a direct bolt on. No problems. My thoughts are no matter what you choose try to stay with a concentric hub fit. Keep us posted on the choice. |

FloridaBMW, what E46 wheels did you put on the E36? It's just I also am in this deciding mode of what wheels to get for my E36 Monty Blue Coupe.

I used the style 44's that came stock on my E46. http://www.bmwwheels.com/bmwwheels_detail.asp?ws=44&Seri es=E36 They really look amazing on the E36 which came stock with 15s. http://www.bmwwheels.com/bmwwheels_detail.asp?ws=41&Seri es=E36 We are constantly getting compliments. The above link both reference the E36 but the 44's are def a wheel found stock on the E46. Good luck and keep us posted. Edited by FloridaBMW |

FloridaBMW, Thanks for the info. IMHO I prefer the old school type BBS multispokes(style 29), ACS Type III's or the E46 M Doublespoke (style 67) on a coupe. But having said that I'm still looking and I will post when I get whatever wheels. Thanks Edited by RossiS |

18s too small!? I take it then you like the boneshaker ride that comes with really bling wheels . Also the spray on tyre look... |
