To all,

Do we have places booked at any of the two shows in Aberdeen this year, i.e. the North East Motor Show at the AECC on the 30th of July 2006, or the Alford car show on the 3/9/2006,

as i would luv to try and get car in the line up of BMW's at the shows if it is OK with others

sorry i can not make the show down at Arbroth,as car has squashed nose cone due to light contact with other BMW last weekand is now off the road for about 4 weeks +

this meens that i can get wheels re-polished and painted + other bits

Cheers

Mark

enquiries had been made about the North East Motor Show.... £50 a car to show it on a stand made that a complete non-starter

We already have a stand booked for Alford Motorvation, if you want to show your car pm Pete330 and ask to be put on the reserve list in case someone drops out

Think you have the date wrong for Alford

3rd Sept is a bike event

The car show is 23rd July

and we have 6 cars on show

Your name is noted incase of any pull outs

as far as the AECC Is concerned £50 per car is what i was told via email

I politely told them that i thought it was us putting on the show and they should pay us

Thanks Peter,

That sounds good to me,

I will have my polish ready just incase,        yes £50  per car dose sound alot you would think they would clear enough a the gates as i am sure it is not free entry ?

Is this the norm and are all other clubs expected to pay this for all the cars they have,

no, its not the norm, but this particular car show is really meant for brand new cars, the main dealers can afford £50 a car to show their wares
