Camping before Gaydon?

Gaydon is on Sunday and really close to the Cotswolds.  I wouldn't mind taking the friday off and doing a bit of a roundup of the country ending up in Gaydon on Sunday.

The idea is plan a couple of good camp sites for friday and saturday and use those as meeting anchors.  But plan them sufficiently far apart that we can have a good drive from one to the other.

My suggestion is 
Dent or Askrigg Cumbria on Friday night then Burford on Saturday; I seem to remember a nice pubs in both locations, though I can't remember where.
