Topic: Site Down Posted: 18-September-2003 at 01:57 |
The site was down for the last 2 days due to a hack attack.
Unfortunatley most data made / changed after the end of August was lost (including this forum)
Apologies folks.

Wlee between myself, Howard Walker and Duncan Ireland we have been quite active behind the scenes trying to re-organise data.
As you can see I managed to upload the forum last night at 2am (and was up at 6:30 for work ) and I see the icons on the top are not the correct pics (they are from the last forum version) but I will rectify that at some stage today (under pressure for time over the next few days having to get my car ready for Mondello Park).
Anyway, you may come accross a few broken links etc. throughout the site - if you do please tell us here.
Thanks Killian

I notice also that the number of posts we have made has also been reduced. I assume thats because all the september posts ahve been lost.

Just wanted to say thanks for the hard work. I wish the hackers all the very worst of luck and health.

What had they actually done? Were they just playing silly bu@@ers and erased stuff?
Just a thought.. anyone with website links might be targeted too or would they not bother?
Great to see forum up and running again. 10 cans of red bull and a packet of pro-plus to K and all for putting it back together again, well done.
