Hi,

My sisters boyfriend bought a 91 E36 316i A few weeks back and is having serious trouble gettin it started :

The fuel pump isn't priming but there is 12 volts going to the fuel pump relay connection, when I put the relay in and check it it looses the 12 volts, I have tried new relays but still nothing, also I ran a live across so that the pump would prime but the car will still not start.

Any body got any ideas on this one.
Dont seem to be getting a spark either does the immobiliser cut the fuel and the spark. And would the central locking have anything to do with it.
