"Life should be all about fun and friendship - let's ensure we all work to that mantra" Yep! But we should follow it ALL!

What i meant was that I could not be bothered picking on someone. Anyhow, as you say, lets rest this one. |

I certainly couldn't be bothererd in getting involved in something like that"
On the contrary Killian the reputation of this place rests on you. All the previous shambles of the forum change, clearly indicates the loyalty that all present have expressed. But it was the deletion itself that has miffed me, however I'm not pursuing this any longer as the decision was made. It'd be a slap on the face if it was to be re-opened. Well lets rest this one and move on... P.S Come on the Tartan Army. Edited by m3tiko |

He may feel that way and it is possible that mods overstep their authority.
I don't think there is any intention to single out anyone on this forum. bm24v is not being picked on as far as I can see. I certainly couldn't be bothered in getting invloved in something like that. He posted something and Duncan explained why it was removed. I had thought that was settled. When this thread arrived it was moved to the most appropriate forum for it (as happens with similar threads). There was nothing in that action that was directed towards bm24v. As you say, mods may overstep the mark but it is with good reason and its good for you to question us on it. However, I have recently recieved solicitors letters with idiotic demands (one letter regards things that have nothing to do with me or the forum!) and I have no desire to recieve any more. With recent issues (which will not be discussed on the forum but at the AGM) I want to make sure that the forum that people enjoy is kept available to people. I know that this may not be the ideal answer for you but as a moderator, it often comes down to a quick decision on whether to edit or remove a post or thread. Anyhow, can we not just follow the bit in my sig (the text that is!) |

I'm in no way expressing other opinions but only mine and if anyone should feel offended or upset...then tough
Swearing or cursing should be refrained as we never know truthfully who's reading from my wee man aged 5 to Babs Whitehouse II. Aye, theres ways of subliminally using these words which most use...no probs with that IMO. Racing T5 issue...In the post there was no direct admission of racing et al,stated was the power delivery of the vehicles compared. Rightfully there was no mention of speeds or lengths as it wasn't racing Lets not forget mods responsibilities, but mods don't forget sometimes you exceed your authority and users like in this instance feel singled out. Has he a point? IMHO I think so. Tiko |

bm24v - Two scenarios here
Up to now, the moderators have been fairly tolerant with you (IMHO) . So please have a look at the Rules & Guidelines and let this be the last of this nonsense.

Perhaps it is the swearing? - listen I'm no saint either I'm sure that I've sowre on here occasion but there are always other words to express ones-self. I know some of the moderators and they are sound reasonable chaps. If you leave the swearing out I'm sure you'll be OK. As for why the T5 thread was removed I don't know I can't remeber swearing going on? Anyway if its the swearing is a good reminder for us all to watch our language. Even if people like me can't spell to save there lifes All the best.... |

Graham.... There's a couple of thing's that have harsh and your not the only one to say...tiko pm'd me the other night and gave his opinion also. I mean fair enough I tend to swear (which i'm trying to curb) but again Iv'e seen (and probably you too) ppl "disguising" swear word's...but yet it's me that seem's to get rapped for it...maybe they do too mind you I'll never know.

Probably better to ask them directly. I can see your rageing but all I can suggest is that you ask them whats up probably a PM to moderators would be better, I'm sure they'll explain. PS For what its worth I thought deleting the the post about the Volvo T5 was a bit harsh too. |

Or better still just get Dunc to ban me.....he'll be good at that....honest to god all I did was answer a post that I would normaly get moved and I get the rap for it... Edited by bm24v |
