I'm looking for a good quality wax or polish. What i was using in the past has been turtle wax.....but it always makes the rub strips look grey, where it streaks onto it if the rag hits. Is there any recommended polish or wax that doesnt smear the rub strips etc.

She is Cosmos Black, and i would be looking for a mirror finish...I saw a 5er on my way into work coming through Maynooth, think it was a '02, it was black and looked amazing.....there was some shine off it.

Just want my car gleaming!! LOL

Black, did the man say black?

There is only one wax for a black car in my opinion, and the results it gives are astonishing.

Pinnacle Souveran Wax - £39.99

For dark cars, Zymol Carbon, and it doesn't leave any white residue.

This subject always brings a smile to my face, everyone thinks the wax they use is the best, and as with most things in life its all down to personal preference, i guarantee that 2 identically prepared cars then finished with wax 'X' on 1 and wax 'Y'  on another and you'd never be able to tell the difference. What i want in a wax  is ease of use, durability and a decent finish and good old value for money.
