I was wondering has anybody bought these kits from C3, I was looking at a front a rear red tape kit for my Diamantschwarz E30 M3. Is there another alternative on the market, I think £51 is quite pricey for a bit of tape. |

Hello. I too have thought about these for my car, same colour as yours but have delayed until I get the new front bumper painted. It is pricey though. (Seriously now!) perhaps you could get some red electrical tape from somewhere at at least see how you like the look! I'd think what you'd be buying for your money is durability and (hopefully) UV resistance.... HTH Nick. |

Wow ! It never cost anything like that when I bought the black tape for my car. I think if you search on S14.net, you might find it is 3M tape and you might be able to find it from a cheaper source than a dealers.

i got mine from the dealers and they were nowhere near that price . mine were black though don't know if red is dearer ? But i thought i would get someone to fit them properly (no air bubbles and all that) so i went to a local company that make up these signs that you see on vans etc and they said they could of supplied the black vinyl themselves for very little Might be worth a look cheers Andy |

The front are £8.81 and rear are £11.15 in the black all on the C3 website, so the red are much more expensive. Andy thats a great suggestion, I will check out the local signwriter and it could work out cheaper. |

I think C3 must have given you the wrong price. But if they haven't ,try emailing this guy in the USA. His name is Don and he's a top guy.This is his M3 shop.Post would probably be a couple of pound the worst way.

Is this website in use, there is an offer on bumper tape kits for only $20, but it states offer ends January 2006, which suggests to me it not updated very often. I was going to order some EVO3 bonnet seals aswell. Anyone order of this site lately. http://www.mcadamsautosport.com

I have sent Don from McAdams auto sport an email and he swiftly reponded and answered all my questions, bumper tape is in stock, but hood seals are back in on Friday. $17.83 airmail for them both to be shipped to Ireland, so it works out at $87.83 for EVO3 seal kit and bumper tape kit to my door. Thats alot cheaper than anyone else |

You can also order your choice of color from anyone who sells 3m pinstripe tape in 7/8 inch width. A 150ft length roll cost about $30.

when i had my diamond black m3 i used red electrical tape, that just happen to fit perfectly and was a spot on colour match too. Cost me............................99p!!!!!!!!!! should start selling it..anyone for a roll??? £5 delivered |

Still available from the stealer so why use other people's? Saying that - I used Fablon when my OEM faded - it doesn't Still got loads left - want to buy some? |
