hello all.

the link is only for demonstration purpouses. i know where there is a set of these for a not unreasonable price. i must get my car nct'd and since alloys are on the cards anyway, i don't want to have to get four tyres for wheels that are coming off, so i'm motivated to buy sooner rather than later.

however, i had my heart set on alpina replicas, 17" schnitzer replicas or the 'bmw motorsport' wheel with the five split spokes (clearly, i don't know what they're actually called). i'm torn because i can't find any of my first choices but these are not undesirable and available. so my question is this- will they look good on my red E36 saloon with M3 rear lights and lowered at the front?? thanks

I reckon you should hang on for the wheels you want.... you'll only regret it otherwise!

I saw an E36 saloon on schnitzers last weekend... looked really well.

Get the four new tyres for the NCT and keep the old wheels and tyres for track days!

Mrs D's new car has these on and personally I think they are the best looking e46 wheels.  They do transfer well to e36's, appearance-wise as well.  You might just want to watch the clearance at the front if you've dropped the car significantly.

i agree with waiting for the wheel that you want.wheels are a big part of how the car looks and theres no point in settling for something that you dont really want just because they`re a bargain.

if i settled for a bargain rather than what i wanted id be driving a fiat cinquecento.(which are great little cars i might add)

i am kinda leaning that way as well. it's not like these wheels are a bargain either. i do like them but i would love to know what they would look like on the car. i feel they may be a little pedestrian for my tastes. of course, i could see them on the car and think Phwoar! At the same time i'm worried that some of my first choice wheels might look a little in-your-face. i'm becoming far too philosophical about this car.
