Friday 13th blues

I've never been supersticious until now but today my wife decided to scrape the n/s/r passenger door along a fence post 

Not happy. I don't think any of my doors are blemish free now! Time to save some cash n get some repairs done.

Today was not a good day. I've never looked forward to bed so much!

To be honest, when I look at the car now, I feel very chipped away! Every door had at least a scratch or dent in it. Only superficial mind, but enough to make me scowl everytime I walk out of the house. I only look at it in the dark now, it upsets me too much. When a bit of cash next comes my way that I can call 'spare' I'm going to get it booked in at a local bodyshop and have it all sorted, probably in the year 2017!

I've just shelled out for 2 new rear tyres, the fronts have only a couple of thousand miles at most. My tracking is out and front suspension arms all need doing as well as the belt tensioner. It all seems to come at once! Luckily, I do have a 'rainy day fund' with a few hundred in it so most of this can be sorted but I really do feel miserable when i look at my car now. Of course, I do have the perfect remedy, i just turn the key, engage first, then floor the loud pedal! Always makes me smile!!
