Are there any suitable ones out there? Does anybody bother fitting them? Any advice on how to source one?

Thinking of selling my M3 and getting something cushy for my increasingly long distance work driving. But I'd like a bit of fun too, and I reckon trying to get the tail of an E38 out on a wet roundabout might be just the ticket!

You do not need a LSD to do this. If I turn the traction control off on my 95 525I, I will end up facing the other way when I go around a roundabout a little too fast! I can only imagine it is worse on a big 4.0L V8...

Having owned an E34 525i (noon sport), while they are a joy to kick out, tis momentum oversteer more than anything. A diff makes things alot smoother, more predictable, and more enjoyable. The 525i on a dry circuit spins power out the inside rear which frustrates.

My brothers 735i cremates the inside tyre if the ACS is off. So I'd like a diff to get everything resolved the way I like, and have the bit of fun I have in the M3.

The US spec 740i Sport had a limited slip diff as standard. Was there a EU 740i Sport? Did it have a limmo? It's a Sport 740 I'm thinking of looking at, but dunno is it genuine model that was out, or just the wheels etc put on..

All advice gratefully received

I have DSC on my 750i and I promise you if you choose to turn it off you have a oil tanker that thinks its a ballerina, it needs lightning reflex's as it's not a tail wagger by trade the inertia is massive.
