My friend has a "51" 320D coupe that at odd times will not rev or rev above 4,000 rpm. The air mass meter has been changed and the turbo has been replaced but it still at odd times will not rev .


Any ideas ?

don't have any real mechanical knowledge.

but are most diesels not fitted with a rev limiter?

I know my van has it. could it be that playing up somehow?
