bought a tube of bardahl concentrated gear oil additive. anyone have any knowledge of this? how can i use it?? (i generally distrust anything with the word additive on it BTW-usually a rip off) |

Chuck it in the bin. Gearboxes don't need crap like
that - that's what modern oil is for. Auto gearbox leak stoppers just make the oil seals swell up - holding oil for long enough to sell the thing before the seal blows big style. The biggest con ever was Slick 50. |

To use you generally just add it to the gear oil and its as simple as that with such additives. If you are going to use additives, stick to Forte but I would advise against them as they generally end up doing more harm. |
