I have some POR15 rust preventative paint but, still to use it.

I've waxoiled the interior car shell rust scabs, arches etc.. before attending to it properly in the spring time. Been recommended this stuff by loads of people who swear by it.

That's where I got it also Nigel..also comes with free seasonal catalogue..loads of interesting stuff in it.

The por 15 stuff is fantastic.

I've used it on both the Beemer & the bike, great results, I also used their fuel tank repair kit on the bike tank (it makes a tank within a tank...it seems good so far.

Best Wishes

Nigel

Thanks guys. I am looking for something that is easy to use and apply to prepare a few of the underside areas of the E30 that look a bit rusty unsightly and require a bit of a tidy up. The POR 15 looks the ticket.

Cheers  Steve.

Use the metal ready before you use the paint, then underneath you can just underseal.

You will need to cover por15 paint, as it needs protection from uv light.
