without my wife knowing i entered her car in to a competition on my local radio station called "SPRAY MY RIDE" ... well i won it biggrin.gif
http://www.yourradiofm.com/frontpage/index.php?front_id=5
and here it is
before

and 1 week later she got it back ....

it's now looking like no other colt and looking like what i could never have afforded to do to it

the paint is a total one off, specially mixed for her car, all door check's, under bonnet (strut top's and inner wings) and boot check's have been painted to, the pictures don't show how amazing the paint work/finish are.
my wife knew nothing about the colour i picked and i'm pleased to say she was "well chuffed" i also got the aireial and boot lock smoothed over
one of my mates recorded it all: http://www.westcruise.co.uk/colt.wmv (i'm the guy with the shaved head & white/striped shirt, my wife's the one who rip's of the paper!!)
i took her today to pick new alloy's for it, get them next week

congrats Ian what a transformation glad the missus is happy with the colour and a new set of wheels too, you must be sweetening her up for something big for your car

btw who did the paint? I take it the guy is local, is this the first time that you've used him and would you recommend after all you can never have enough options for good reliable and reasonable paint shops
