One of the girls at work needs a drivers side headlamp unit for E36 '99 'vert.  The glass is cracked across the front.

Anywhere to source one 2nd hand?

Or any cheap new ones

If its just the cover of the lamp that's broken (stone damage, etc), it doesn't need the whole unit replaced.  The cover glass is available seperately.  I got one for the 325i recently and it cost €100+vat from the dealer.  They should be a bit cheaper on Euro Car Parts or similar.

Now: BMW 523i SE '00, 318i SE - e91 '07, 325i Coupe '93.

Prev:

e39 523i SE.
e36 325i Coupe *2, 323i SE, 316iSE.
e30 325iSE 2dr, 320i Conv, 320i 2dr, 316i.

If you go for a secondhand or ECP make sure you get the right one, the newer version has little bumps across the top and the older ones are all flat. I reckon that your friends one has the bumps on top of the glass. try micksgarage.com
