But you have'nt actually driven one!!!

...guess that would be the 'front', as in behind the driver...... where I come from that's the back.

So you realise that  mid to late 1980's F1 cars had upto 1300bhp??? So what is easier to drive? A 1300bhp turbo'ed car with no electronic aids or 900bhp with TC and other electronic aids?? If you think it's the latter then you obviously know more about F1 cars than Nigel Mansell and IIRC Sir Jackie Stewart.

No I don't, haven't claimed that I am........leaving that to you, but judging by your previous thread you have trouble with 350???? bhp with electronic aids in the rain????????

BTW; when do you sign your contract with BAR?

At the risk of repeating myself.....

Well I humble myself to the Pits and say yes it was the rear with mainly just a view of his helmet...a writing error and also correct myself by making the grammatical error in by saying "i had actually driven one".

I was merely demonstrating the fact that it is a sport that requires huge amounts of skill, precision and stamina. The 'boys' comment is pretty retorical as these days most drivers that enter F1 have come up from the ranks of karting etc with the added advantage of an earlier transition into motor racing hence their age!

Oh yeah I HAD a problem with 350bhp in the wet in mine...but with an e30 m3 and the power yours deliver I hardly think it warrants any worry or the need for driving aids. I'd be more terrified in a Ford Ka cos it's quicker.

You ask when do I sign for BAR? I don't but I heard they are looking for some e30 m3 owners as it's like for like and all that I'll put your names forward shall I ?

Don't start me....oh please do great banter

Now now ladies, handbags away or I'm getting a padlock out....

Which would be a shame as I've been enjoying watching the M3 kids waving their privates about.

The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.

Oh no need Del for that...I've said enough.

All this because a car aquaplained...

One thing I have learned that e30 m3 owners do suffer from serious inferiorities about their cars. I'd be the same if I knew a Ford Ka was quicker I guess.... Don't fret however I watched an e30 vs saxo video and the e30 just won., so ain't all bad. Chin up

One of the main reasons for production of the road car was to homologate the M3 for Group A Touring Car racing, as an answer to the "2.3-16V"-model of the Mercedes-Benz W201 which was introduced in 1983. A notable characteristic of the E30 M3 is its racing pedigree, campaigned by BMW as well as other racing teams including Prodrive and Schnitzer Motorsport."
