There are lots of ways to gain horsepower as mentioned above, but one thing I will say is that to get the best of and take advantage of any modifications, you should really get the car re-mapped. For example, removing a catalyst can actually loose you power. But with a re-map you will gain more ultimate power without the catalyst than with one fitted. Same goes for induction systems, throttle body swops, etc.

This is my experiance, also I always dyno run the car as presented before any mods. I then dyno run after each mod to show what has worked and what hasnt. A final re-map always fine tunes the engine and this is where you know you cannot get anymore out of what you got.
