Well she's finally advertised - here's the link in case anyones looking. Now the waiting game starts. Shes on Carzone (Below) CBG and the Buy and Sell so fingers crossed. I really hate selling cars - buying them now thats an entirely different story. If anyones interested there is a club discount!!

Couple of calls today, 2 serious, one saw the car and test drove.
She booked the AA for an inspection so it that goes OK on Tue / Wed then she's gone. Its driving great so I must admit I will be sad to see it go. |

well that didn't go well - she got quoted 450 for the car to be checked out and wants me to foot the bill after I had already agreed a price so I said sorry - not interested so lets see if someone else appears.
And there I was thinking I'd be in for a record sale in the shortest time. |

You might be lucky and get a quick sale....and I hope you are. But if the market is anything like it was last year you probably shouldn't hold your breath. I think people are finally running out of spare cash and becoming more careful of how they spend what they spend.

I got the same selling the e46. Advertised at 14.5K. Loads of offers of 12K. Turned them all down thinking that I'd get more. In the end I ended up accepting 12K. Over THREE MONTHS after the initial offer. Sick as a parrot I was, I tells yeh! |

I told her she'd find loads of the eastern imported 520's and that she should check them out.
I am willing to negotiate but what really got me was that we agreed on 14.5 down from 15.5 - done the deal. Then she changes her mind completely - said she had looked at loads of 520's and this one was the cleanest, anyway thankfully I didn't tell the other interested callers that it was gone so still a few potentials there yet. Fingers crossed!! |
