Is an e34 worth spending cash on?

The e34 didn't just pass the NCT this morning, it stormed it. (Slight imbalance in rear the suspension means it's not 100% but it's close).

So the question is if a 15 YO e34 with 165,000 on the clock is worth spending money on? 

I'm now thinking about spending a few grand on improving the pauper interior and getting a respray. 

It has a little rust in the rear passenger side wheel arch and a few little dents but it's structurally sound.

What do you think? Spend money on it or just drive it to death?
