Has anyone tried the grand task of removing a mono wiper mechanism or
even the standard mechanism from an e30 m3.

I have undone the bolts but how this unit actually comes out is a mystery
to me.

Completely hit a brick wall.

HELP

How come you want to remove it? Have you tried s14.net I seem to remember a couple of installation guide that people had written for the bonrath kit maybe that would be of use. If wouldnt mind a mono wiper for mine so if your getting rid let me know.

As far as I remember you have to take the heater blower fan apart. You have to remove '1' from :-

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=1007&mospid=47 266&btnr=64_0480&hg=64&fg=15

you then have to remove '2' by undoing '8' in :-

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=1007&mospid=47 266&btnr=64_0514&hg=64&fg=15

This should then give you enough wiggle room to get it all out, it is a struggle though.

Sorry, but I can't really help here, because although I have had mine changed due to the driver-side knuckle being nackered so the wiper kept falling off, I got "my man" to do it.

It must have been a bit of a b as the bill was quite high!

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.

Ac79xxx you are a star.

Having had another 2 hour go at it tonight I took another glance before I
left and thought that fan has got to come out otherwise there is not
enough room.

You have just confirmed my assumptions

Engine bay. Only way it can, would never fit the other way.
