Hi Folks

Occasionally my 525 e34 tourer will fail to start and gas up just on the initial turn of the key. I can usually overcome this by removing fuse 23 which disables the fuel pump, and then turning it over until the engine kicks into life so burning off the excess fuel. On completion of this the fuse then goes back and usually the engine fires back up again but this time continues to run.
I've been told that this is a common problem on the e34's and I believe it as it's my second one that has done it.
It occurs more when it's hot than when it's cold
Has anybody got any cures for this malady?
