Wonder what it will sound like with the turbo's at the rear? Interesting idea to mount them there though.

i was wondering how much lag there maybe also with the turbo's set far back would they not get t much cool air instead of a good flow of warm air?

400 bhp per rear tyre. I don't think you would be able to drive that on anything other than a bone dry track. "Testament to BMW’s engineering, the SMG transmission has been left untouched. " Hmm well we'll wait and see if a 500 bhp rated tranny can handle 60% more power. Not forgetting that a 60% increase in bhp will also increase the torque by a similar amount which is what will tear the tranny and suspension from its mountings. Would like to see one in action. There was an article in March edition of BMW car magazine about it - the californians wanted a challenge, to turbocharge the unturboable! Would definately love to see it in the flesh though! Paul |
