After 6 hours of washing/ claying/ polishing and waxing phew!, I took the car for a country road twisty drive. Took a pic of the car (several in fact) and have been in a dilema whether to fit a rear spoiler or not. Cast your votes and opinions

I'd got with the standard type with the brake light. I fitted one to mine (well,
I mean professionally fitted) and I love the result. I was contemplating a GT type but I'm glad I went with the standard one. |

I've gone for leaving it as it is. Thats on the basis that I'm presuming it didn't come with one as standard and that its thereby nothing but cosmetic tack. I don't think any of the options improve the look of the car - but leaving it as it is means you're left with what looks like a very nice car already. |

Can't make my mind up - but to have a roof spoiler I think you'd have to have a standard boot spoiler as well.

The rear spoiler was part of the aerodynamic styling included in the sport pack as fitted to the 318is. this is the sport pack spec, |

Keep the shape as clean as possible and leave as is IMO. A lip is too E46 wannabe and the other options are a bit drastic.

I would fit a spoiler, but a rear lip style as the one shown here; I have a normal spoiler on mine, going to take that off and fit it onto our demo car and then get myself one of these - I think they keep the lines clean but subtly add that that special touch
