Well guys the weather was definately not on my side today it just kept raining  but hey,  nowt changes!!lol.

Made a start to alistairs BMW yesterday morning,

Foamed with Megs APC
Washed 2 bucket and Poorboys slick suds
clayed sonus grey clay and Last touch as lube.
Menzerna Intensive polish and Power Gloss for the tough bits on Ported cable with Final Finish to finish!!( cant' mind the fancy names for them!!)

Befores:

During foaming:

after claying:

A try at a 50/50!!

Wheels before:

After:

Still a long way from finnished a I only managed to clay the car and polish the O/s front wing and the bonnet
before the rain came down again.   But will finnish it on Friday when hopfully the weather's better!!

The finnished bonnet( no wax as yet tho, gonna use Natty's blue tho)

Cheers for looking,
Paul.

Well guys, Thats it polished!! The rain was on and off all day!! But I got it done!!

Got 95% of the deffects out, just got some deeper scratches to look at and finnish off a bit off the roof. still got the wheels to finnish claying/polishing/sealing but Alistairs coming back tomorrow for that.

The Pictures don't do it much justice but it looks damn good in the flesh but thats only because my camera isn't that good.lol.

So Enjoy!!

Some 50/50 shots(hard to make out in the light, no swirls in one side, swirly in the other)

Arty ones!!

Cheers for looking!!

The transformation is amazing.

I was gobsmacked by the amount of dirt the clay lifts and how smoooooth it leaves the paint.

...and then he makes it shinier!

Paul does a great job!

My pic was 2.4M before I shrunk it to 130K...

Any smaller and you can't see the depth of the shine.

Yes, and that's the smallest filesize!  The rest are 155k, 166k and 177k.  I bet the next one was going to be 188k wasn't it!?

It's a not a big issue, lets face it.  However, heres an average 1280 x 1024 image (yours are 800 x 600) and it's not lacking any shine...at less than 64k!

All that black jpegs to nothing and the large blocks of red and white should compress well too.

...and it's only 40" high to start with.

My bonnet had noticable artifacts at ~60k...

The shine seems to be 130k deep!
