I read that on E46 Fanatics and they said the same thing. However its not worked for me..

	Rain Sensors can be "funny"... 1st thing is to get the sensor reinitialised (properly) - there's a set procedure with a scan tool to do this. If this fails you can try to find out why... Sometimes the screen, sometimes the sensor... Finally - you can Code the car to behave with normal intermittent rather than rain sensor on the Car/Key Memory Options. HTH, Eddie.

	All depends on what's wrong... To run a diag on the car and reinitialise the sensor I usually charge �150. At the end of that if reinitialising doesn't fix it I usually turn the function off for people. Some customers do want it working correctly and it can run to hundreds... Even �1k if it needs screen & sensor etc. All depends... Eddie.

	I've got a new sensor on order. Hoping to get it replaced on Friday. Fingers crossed.

	Thats the sensor replaced now.. Just got the car back. Was a 5min job to fit. And yipee it works now.. Problem solved!!! UNTIL NEXT TIME.. Lol.
