I'm starting to clean under the arches, I can get them relatively clean but there's some really caked on dirt, I was just wondering if there is a product that anyone recommends?

Also, want to clean under the bonnet and get it upto scratch.

Any help, greatly appreciated!

Alun, I use gunk , for both under the bonnet and the arches, worked in the more ingrained areas with a selection of brushes , works a treat everytime.

From Petes link, it was suggested that engine degreaser is used.  I had a bottle of Autoglym stuff that I had never used under the bonnet but it worked a treat under the arches though.

Wet arches. Spray on, leave for 5 mins then scrub with a brush and then rinse, really brought the black plastic up.

I took the wheels off and I power washed the arches before putting the spray stuff on.

Didn't stay clean for long though.
