Had a thought go through my mind this is in the beginning stage it is a thought for a 5 Series meeting for all to attend no mater where you are in the country.

The event would be made so it is assessable to all in the country Scotland Ireland England Wales and any others.

I would be looking to find a central place to host this event.

So that that anyone could attend preference would be given to club members but anyone with a 5 series no mater shape age condition would be more welcome to attend.

And see how many we can get how many rare to the most modern blinged to the standard.

The reason for this is to bring like minded car enthusiasts and drivers together.

At the moment this is still a thought i would have to speak to club/and you guys and girls to see what you all think.

Nothing has been decided but if this was to come together it will not likely happen until next year if it comes together.

Also i would like your thoughts and comments pm me or e-mail me put your thoughts below.

Ian

Somewhere relatively central may suit, e.g. Birmingham

Practically speaking, you'd need somewhere where there would be a selection of hotels catering for all wallets would be available. Even if you made it perfectly central, almost nobody would be able to justify driving half-way across the country for a couple of hours before driving home. You might want to consider making it a "start noon on Saturday, end noon on Sunday" event. And you'll need a ton of space, which would probably suggest some sort of place where we'd have to hand over some money.
Ciao,
Spokey

newcastle/carlisle looks central according to the map, would have to be a weekender though, too far to travel for a one day event for me up in the sticks

Id be willing to drive to york, would be good, we could even try to scam photosshoot in railway museum.

and the magazines are more likely to cover it as well since its not a two day affair for them to get there take photos and get home.

id stick something on bmw5.co.uk as well about it mate.

I'd be up for it, wallet permitting. York would be a 4-5 hours trip for me so not too bad but then it's food, hotel etc. Hundred quid at cheapest I reckon. Maybe a travel inn or something like that would be best. They have reasonable food for reasonable money and the rooms are about 50-60 quid.

Should be good!

Mike
