This is from the official BMW website http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/about/news/0,,1156___co-181236400 ,00.html
I think the car looks the part... and in 123d form it will be just superb!
Mind you I am just recovering from my BMW withdrawal syndrome... As my car is for repairs...I got a 320d SE (from BMW rental services, Specialist Cars), which is a trully amazing car and also had a spin in a BMW Alpina D3 Touring, courtesy from Sytner Nottingham. I was tempted to order one...until I saw this about the 1 coupé Oh dear, what am I going to do.... |

You're not going to buy a 1 series coupe, that's what you're going to do. Go and get the D3, its a FAR better car, no comparison.

WOW, stunning car and just look at the performance! I'd even be tempted to buy the diesel if I was in the market for one. BMW have made the effort with the low tax band too, mixing performance, good looks and keeping the green party happy at the same time! Mike Edited by 540 V8 |

Oh no, don't get me wrong, it's high octane V-power all the way for me but IF I absolutely HAD to get a diesel, imagine the power to weight of the diesel 1 series. It has impressed me that much I'd consider it. But as I am more than happy with my V-power run 540 there's no chance of a diesel anytime soon! Sorry to mislead you Mick! Mike |
