Is it possible to renew the paintwork on a faded pinky-red BMW back to sparkly red?

I've seen a 1990 316i going like a birdy nearby but it's a little pink... and I was wondering if it can be made shiny again...?

Yip you will need a rotory polisher and some cutting polish and plenty pads
