Left Plymouth at 1120 yesterday to go to Liverpool, got stuck in the mother of all traffic jams. 7o'clock at night I still hadn't hit Birmingham so I turned round and came home. The idiots who organise roadworks on our motorways need shooting.

Feel better now I've got that off my chest!!!

I remember getting stuck in a Jam in Kingston three months ago. Took me two hours to travel 500 metres and was boxed in on all sides so could not turn around. Feel for you. I have a conspiracy theory that the goverment deliberatly screws up the roads with un necasery roadworks just to p##s motorists off. If road works were organised by people that actually drive and use the roads the inconvenience of them could be kept to a minimum.

You guys are lucky, you don't have to put up with Red Ken's CONgestion CHARGE! In London, OUTSIDE the zone, everything possible is done to dissrupt the traffic flow and make car drivers suffer!
